Featured Photos Module

Hi.  Sorry I had to repost this. As most of you know, I am not a Developer (although I'm getting better).  I want to know why when I choose a photo in Feature option of Admin (make featured) it doesn't change to make the one I choose featured.  The only time this works is if a new joiner joins and I choose one of his/her photos to be the featured.  Is this how that functions?

I just checked it on my clean Dolphin 7.0.7 and it's working as it should. I "Mark as Featured" 2 photos randomly  via admin panel -> modules -> photos and they appeared in "Featured Photos" block on Photos home page.

Weird..I just "make featured" 2 and the photo featured from 9 days ago is still there...

Any advice?  If not, I'll try to figure it out...

If you mark some Photo as featured it will be listed in the Featured Photos block until you unmark it as featured. 

Dolphin's Photos module or any other default module doesn't clear featured lists automatically.
