Featured Video on the front of a site.

Is there anyway to place a featured video or put a certain video on the front page of a site?

You can use an "HTML Block" and embed a video.

Did you search this site for "embed videos?"

There is no option on the html editor to embed videos.

What I am wanting is a block by itself that plays a certain video when someone comes to the site. Like say a admin video.

Admin >Builders> Page Blocks> Homepage

Drag the HTML block to where you want it to be. Format the name of the block. Click the button that says HTML on the editor and paste the embed code. (You may need to tweek your settings to allow the embed code, I can't remember if it's a default-allowed function or not) Select if you want it to be viewable by visitors and/or members. Save. Clear Cache.

should be no problem using the embed feature, just center the code and it should work.

Tweaking may mean adjusting the size of the video or the main page to allow video to display properly.

if you get stuck, I can put video into flash for you so that it will only play the video as you want it and not anything else from youtube. You can include scrolling messages or anything like that aswell.

You can then put the flash into a block on the home page.

I want to be able to put any video wether it be a Youtube video or other video.

 That does not work at all. I did everything and that does not work in Dophin 7.0.5.

That html block does not allow you to paste a video at all.

Figured out you have to use the object code for it to work.

Is there a way to put a featured video on the front page and be able to change wether it is a youtube video or a site video?

I have embeded 15 videos on one video album. Now on the 16th upload. They are all failing. Why is this? Is there a setting to mod to allow more videos to bee posted?
