So today I finally got to setting up the join forms, edit, view forms.
I migrated over the custom fields.
First thing I had to do is set Caption and descriptions and the rest of the settings.
Now every time I tried to save I received an error saying field already exists. No despite the warning the changes did save properly, well all but the min and max character settings.
I didnt notice until testing out a profile edit and got an error.
So the next step I had to do was go into the data base and find sys_profile_fields and change the max characters right in the database,
Last step was to go back into builders and open and close the fields that I had the errors and went back tested the edit profile and it all works now.
So if anyone ever has this issue try this and you should be alright.
