Fields Builder: State

Looking for the STATE field for my site which seems to be MIA.  I had a developer working on my site and now I have started doing more tasks on my own.  I have looked all over for this field, but unable to locate.

I see CITY, COUNTRY and ZIP code but in the Inactive Fields, I don't see STATE.  Where can I find/add this?

Maybe it's called Region?

Yeah I figured it wasn't called state since this is an American software.  But I don't see region.  I guess I just create one using NEW_ITEM block? 

State is correct for USA(America) but this software is not developed by americans.

Anyhow. You can't find it because it does not exist.

ugh - now it seems like moving things around isn't helping either.  Moving items from the INACTIVE section seems to have broken links.  Idk what to do to fix this.

Just simple demographic information.

Each new one you add you have to add a language key for it.

Text that starts with a _ is a language key.

As for the others you moved, I don't know what happened. Perhaps you went to fast. These updates are done with ajax calls. On a slow server it takes a couple of seconds to record the change.

But all of those text areas that start with a _ are language keys. A keys actual text content can be different for each installed language. It's part of dolphin translation system.

@ DEANO - that makes perfect sense but these fields are in use already on other sections just not on my join form.  But it is used on others pages such as:

 Yup, that's what I figured, but I can create one, yes?  Ewww, then I have to have to add the states manually. 

You will find that each one uses a different lang key in each section.

Chances are if the field was inactive by default and you made it active, then the lang key shown will need to be created.

Can be done from the languages section in admin.

 FIXED - Thanks so much @ everybody.  Question, how can I not have the google map to reflect the same?  Right now, the map shows:

Current Location:  CITY, COUNTRY. 

I'd like it to show:

Current Location:  CITY, STATE          COUNTRY
