Fields builder - DateOfBirth - no Mandatory

hello

it is possible to have the date of birth - no Mandatory

in admin - D7 - Fields builder - DateOfBirth - Advanced - Mandatory

I uncheck - Mandatory - but on the page - Join Now -

DateOfBirth - is always mandatory

it is possible to have the date of birth - no Mandatory

Hi Daniel,

        I had the same problem, just wouldn't set to Non Mandatory.....found the best temporary work around was just to drag the DOB Field to 'inactive' and create a new field set to Non Mandatory (called my new field 'My_Age') - works a treat.

but it is always Mandatory

you can not search a member by age-example: between 19 and 33 years

and People - browse - by age : does not correspond with the age of your members

   not needed on my site but have just changed the field to 'date' for you...create an account 'daniel' and try it...works fine....I'll delete account later.

you must add

Minimum value: 18

Maximum value: 75

don't think you can have the DOB field non-mandatory if you add an age into either of the fields, general opinion is that if you enter either age, the DOB field becomes mandatory...see this thread
