File Module Changes File Names

When I add files to the File section and then download them from an iPad or iPhone the file name gets changed to a random number. This is a problem because my file names need to remain the same after they are downloaded because many of them have links between each other. If the name of the file changes then the links break. Is there a way to keep the module from changing the file name?
