File icon is not displaying

I have uploaded files (mp3, mp4, pdf) but only defaul icon is displaying.

Is there anyone know why file icon is now showing properly?

Please see attached screen shot.

Please give me advices to solve this problem.

I took a look at the demo site; hard to get an idea because they only have one file uploaded to the site; there should be several of different types.  On the demo site, in the list of public files, they show a text document icon when the document is pdf.  However, for the block with the folders, it shows a pdf icon for the folder.

If you want to take the trouble, go to the demo site and upload some different files and see how it works there.

Its been like that for years. I have never seen a proper file icon and I started in the 6s. Same with the files module. It does not display proper file icon. It is supposed to, but I have never seen it correctly.

As ProfessorSr says, demo site is working but mine does not.

Maybe it will be bug. Don't you think????

In the demo site I see:

Both are PDF's yet only in "File Folders" the PDF icon is shown.

On my system, running 7.3.1, all icons are the same, none show PDF, MP3, MPG.
