Footer Bar status

Hello All,

Please help me out for the following problem I am facing :

Description: I am using Dolphin 7.X.X. The problem I am facing is that when I logged in and set my status in the footer bar to online. If I was inactive for some time or visit other tabs and then come to my dolphin website it automatically set my status to offline. I need that if I am logged in I never went offline.

Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks in advance.

That is not normal behavior. Once you set the status, it is suppose to stay that way.

However a more specific version number instead of this 7.X.X you listed might help us to look up any known issues in trac.

Basically, i open two browsers because I’m trying to test functions on my site. I use firefox and IE, so i switch between the two browsers when testing.

But every time i switch between browsers the other profile goes offline, so it is difficult to test things like chat and also things like 1col mod from ilbellodelweb.

When you logging to Boonex you get the option to ''stay logged in for a week'' is there a way to apply this function to my site, or is there a way to keep profiles online permanently even when switching between browsers?

Has anyone, or does anyone else have this same issue or is it an isolated case to my site?

If it is something someone else has come across, has a fix been discovered, or can anyone help?

If someone knows how to fix this and requires payment i am happy to look at this too.

Thank you for all your time in advance,

Chris Hoole

i think what happens here is the cookie from dolphin is getting over ridden  also when viewing dolphin sites you must clear your browser cache in firefox for every little change you make to the site.

not saying this is a fix but might be the problem.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your advice, i will take a look into this and see if this helps.

Would you know where to find the files for the sessions time-out or cookies for the footer status bar?

Thank you in advance

Chris

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
