This problem is going back 2 weeks now:
2 Sundays ago, my forum went down. And I received this error message:
http://www.brokenheartedgirl.com/forum/
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Forum::getRecentTopicsXML() in /home/mjac14/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/index.php on line 351
My forum had about 10 different topics and about 300 different posts. But it all just disappeared.
After 2 weeks, ESASE was able to find some of the forum files - and now my forum looks like this:
http://www.brokenheartedgirl.com/forum/ -- it looks terrible. I'm sure you will agree.
Now, go to the home page - http://www.brokenheartedgirl.com and click on any forum post in the forum spy area -- you'll see that when you click on a topic, you will be sent to an error page -
So, now I have an ugly forum and the forum spy module does not work. The worst part? I'm a writer. I just set this website up so people would have a place to speak with one another -- I'm not a programmer like you guys are -- so all of this is frustrating because I don't know how to use the correct language to get someone to understand the issue.
I would like to try to understand why this happened...was it a bug? Was it Host Gator hosting? Was it elves? But I'm guessing it's the result of upgrading my website to Dolphin. 7.0.1. In any case, I really would like help fixing both the forum spy and the forum. I'd also like to know if this has happened to someone else?
If you can help, or if you know if this is a bug, please send me a note. Thanks.
