Forum wont create

i have tried everything in admin panel to create a forum it wont allow to go into manage forum could any1 help please ?

Login as admin, then go to the forum page itself. There you will find the necessary controls to manage it. They are not in the admin screens. (sure would reduce the amount of confusion if they were. Not sure why they decided to do it that way)

thats what i mean i went in normal admin way and through admin panel both ways dont work it wont manage it

Ok. So what you are saying is the administrative controls are not showing up when you visit the forum logged in as the admin?

when u go into forums 1 it doesnt load properly and u cant manage or make a forum ,

admin isnt the problem forum functions that are

I would say verify the permissions on your mod folders but after that, The problem is beyond my talents...

thats the problem iam having , permission for the site is fine , just getting into manage forum that is the problem

That looks like a server configuration error to me. Hopefully someone esle will chime in here

I had this problem before when I used the stupid IE8. Try with firefox of any lower version of IE, if you do use IE8.

just tried opera and firefox that didnt work either

Stupid question maby, but is your server running open_basedir  or  save_mode at active?
Both have to be OFF.

Just so you dont look for save_mode, its actually safe_mode :)

Login as a Admin and go to Forum page.

Fumums Home ---> Manage Forum   and You will find tools on right corner. Click  on folder icon ( new forum ) and that's it You can create new forum.

i tryed that it still not working look at the website http://social-planet.co.uk/forum there a icon loading etc and the topics dont work right u cant even click manage as it just dont go past it when u click it so im stuck plz help me someone cheers

First seems Your Dolhpin is not installed.If installed, delate the install folder . 

Second:

Login as a Admin and go to Forum page.

Forums Home ---> Manage Forum

Click New Group and create a new group. After that You can create a forum. My bad, I forget to say about New Group creation.
