GD Library/Image Magick

I've looked over several post about the Capcha Image not showing. " Error Producing Security Image"

I've installed GD via Apache via my WHM

I also installed Image Magick via SSH.

Yet I am still having issues with the "Error Producing Security Image"

Using Virtual Dedicated Server CentO

After this I disabled GD in the user panel and the Images started working... just incase anyone happens to run into this issue again.

If you installed the GD library after you installed dolphin then dolphin would need to be manually told where to find it via the path settings in inc\header.inc.php.

The proper procedure is to have the server setup including the GD library before dolphin is installed. The dolphin installer will then be able to find those paths automatically during the install process.

In many cases its just a matter of doing things in the proper order.

I actually read that somewhere as well. However I completely uninstalled dolphin. Reinstalled GD via EasyApache and reinstalled dolphin and it didn't work :(

But it seems to be working now after I disabled GD in the user panel.

It may have something to do with the cpanal install.

Normally installing gd is done from ssh in centos as yum install php-gd and dolphin picks that up with no problem.

But cpanal changes the way some things have to be installed.

So i can't explain why. It has to have something to do with how your host setup the cpanal enviroment.
