Getting Chat working in 7.0.6

Is there a step by step tutorial on getting the chat to function?

Regular chat or video chat? If you mean regular chat just go in your admin under

modules->Flash Apps->Settings and make sure you have "use RMS" turned off.. If you mean video chat then you need to install Ray Media Server:

 I unchecked Use RMS and the chat still doesn't work. It doesn't give me any permissions issues.....it just doesn't display the chat within the page.

if the flash app chat is not loading, then there could be some underlying issues. is this a fresh install of dolphin 7.0.7? 

if this is an upgrade, it may be that all files were not properly overwritten through the upgrade process. 

uninstall and reinstall the flash apps, and see if that gets you anything. the other thing is what browser are you trying to load from and what OS? 

do any of the other flash apps load on your machine where you have the problems with the chat? 

 I have a few dolphin installs. My 6.1.6 loads fine. The 7.0.6 is the one giving issues under the same browser I'm using for the 6.1.6 implementation (IE 8). I'll give your suggestion a try. Thanks
