Going BACK in browser Why are forums MOUSETRAPPED?

Why is it when you hit the "BACK" button in the browser while reading the forums all it does is refresh the page and never goes back?

It does it here on the Unity forums and on the Orca Forums in Dolphin. 

WTF???

LOL, I've been bitching about that for months. Just double/triple click the back button with your mouse, at some point, it'll catch and move backwards. You'll enjoy the process of figuring how fast or how hard to click to make it land where you want...

PS, there's a search thingy way down at the bottom of the page (I know that's going to be your next observation)

Do you realize, that after every Tuesday, even the calendar says 'WTF'

Actually, it's because page content is updated via ajax request and that breaks browser navigation.

That's what i've been doing, and the result is usually too many clicks and back further than what I wanted.

Can't be too broke if multiple clicks will bring you back.

It's like the guy with the lively hair says, it's the Ajax. If you are quick, you can catch the ajax movement at half staff and move back a step.

Or you can just get out the comet and have a scrub-off ...

So I take it since this has been addressed before, they have no intentions of fixing it?
