Google Site Search Not Working

Hi all,

I looked around the forum but didn't find a solution for this.

When I go into the search tab and select Google Site Search, it does not find anything on my site ("no results").  Does anybody know how to get this working?

Your site need to be indexed by google.

To check if your site is indexed bu google, try to search http://google.com/ for the following :

site:your-domain.com

replace your-domain.com with your real domain

Even if it's just an onsite search?  I know it's not indexed yet because I haven't done any marketing yet.  I just figured it was only onsite.  So.... if I understand correctly, ONLY keywords that are found in pages indexed by google will show up as results... right?

In case of "Google Search"  - yes - only text on indexed pages !
