Group Blocks not showing

Hi all

I hope someone can help me on this problem as I am very confused.  Everything within a group was working fine until the weekend.  When a group member tried to upload a video or sound to the groups page, nothing happens.  Sometimes there is an error, sometimes there isnt.

Also I as the admin can't even upload anything within a group.

The blocs for sounds and videos have also disappeared, even though they are in place on the groups page within the admin area.  I have checked my cron jobs, file permission etc and nothing is helping.

Does anyone have any ideas?

OK.  So far I have manged to resolve the issue of uploading sounds to a group.  However, now the sound appears to be uploading, but then it stays in the pending area.  After a few minutes it ALWAYS gets moved to the fail area.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I have tried ALL of the advice for adding or changing my cron jobs but still nothing.

possibly timing out or not enough memory on server?  also in the A/V setting, make sure your codec box at the top is unchecked and try again

I have unlimited server space as I am a Web Host Manager and have my own server account.  This I checked already.

Where would I find the A/V settings?

in your ADMIN click on flash apps, "video player" , settings. Uncheck the H264 codec box

That sort of worked, but now I am getting Error: File not processed

ok, it will say that once you upload a file cause it needs to convert it to the FLV but shouldnt take more than 30 sec to a few minutes depending on how large the vid is

The message has changed now.,  Now it is saying FILE NOT FOUND 

and

it is still going into the FAIL area

Somebody must know why uploading sounds or videos within a group fails.

Does anyone have any ideas please, as this is important to my website?
