Group Photos showing up blank

One of my members started a group and every picture she uploaded showed up blank. When I firebug it, the img src field is blank entirely and I can't find the uploaded pictures in the admin panel at all, either. She has previously uploaded images to her Photo Albums and even to another member's group.

I checked the privacy settings, nothing that would interfere there. I had her change the upload privs to everyone (even though she could upload files w/ Admin only settings no prob. That didn't fix it. I had her join her own group, that didn't fix it. I had her change browsers and restart browsers, that didn't fix it. I cleared the cache via admin panel, that didn't fix it. I logged in using Deano's Tools on her id and I could upload images just fine. I cleared the cache and cache_public via cpanel. And she was able to upload images.

Fast forward to this morning (about 12 hours after the above) and she AGAIN is unable to upload images to her own group.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Some questions..

1. What version of D7 are you using?
2. Do you have photos set to "auto approve?"
3. Have you added a 3rd party groups module?

I have a site with photos uploaded daily and have no problems.

Photos are set to auto approve, yes.

No 3rd party modules in groups, no.

We've never had any issues in the 6 months we've been open (and people post pics fairly often to the groups). And as I said, she's had no problem uploading images to other groups. And for a hot minute she could even upload 5 images to this same group.

And the problem seems to be spreading!

Another user now can upload images using the Photos module into her album, but all of her Group photo uploads are failing. Everything seems to work, no error messages, but after she uploads images a blank square appears where the image should be.

Halp!

Happening again. A user who has successfully uploaded pictures in the past just had his latest 2 pics show up as empty boxes in a group.

PLEASE: Help!
