Groups and membership levels

Hi all, great place to get info about dolphin and I thank you for that.

I have attempted to do some searches and haven't found the answer to what I am looking for and hope someone here can assist?

Two items:

First one:

I would like to be able to have two membership levels:

1. allows the members to create their profiles, browse the public groups but not request to join a group (message stating that their membership level xxx does not allow them to but they can upgrade)

2. paid membership allows the auto approval to join...

I noticed the non-member does that block however, when getting into other membersip levels, I have not figured out how to do that as of yet...

(and I don't want to make the group creators have to approve all requests more over, they would not be able to tell if the member is paid or not?).

Second one:

I would like only a particular level of membership to be able to create a group.

I am using Dolphin 6.16

Go into your admin panel, find membership leves, create the ones you want and give them the permissions you want them to have.  For the groups, you might need to grab a mod over at expertzzz.
