Dolphin 6.1.6 has a guestbook too. And my users like it. to writ other people in the guestbook and post heart pics and so on

Guys, but commonly, what benefit of guestbook?

We already have comments for profiles. What is guestbook - posting something for profile. Comments have same functional. So - its just dublicate functional in common. So was decided to remove this for D7.

And when some let know that he loves him. They are gonna post Heart pics in the guest book to his love and says them I love you and so.
Ore friends are posting funny pictures oder something to they other.

Its actually easy to put a picture in a profile comment. With 2 browser windows open, a picture from one can be dragged and dropped into the comments.

I know your looking for a easier solution, but rather than adding a guestbook, just look for a mod to add more controls to the tinymce editor of the profile comments so your members can do more with it.


EDIT: I forgot to mention. The option to allow html in comments in admin needs to be turned on for that to work.

I had a client to who want a guestboook, what I have done is make a new page, installed a guestbook script, and used a html blok with a iframe with a static height.  This is working perfect.  I could this also insert as a (included php).

Which guestbook script have you used for it?

My guestbook in dolphin 6.1.6 ist a spam paradise. we have 400 Users and only reg user can post ore they make them profil that only friends can see and post there. No Problems @all

But when 400 Users say update yes but plz guestbook again.

when this 2 things can be done. thats like a guestbook and everyone of my user feels fine :)

Just tell them that the profile wall replaces the guest book.... then brag about all the new features.
