HAD IT!

Ok I have had it with this script, i have TRIED AND TRIED to get it to work, and videos dont work, avatars are falling off like flies, crons jobs are well....you get it...I LOVE this program, but its SLLLLLOOOOWWWW and it really sucks that they can put up such a good new site for them, but what about my site that is sucking right now? This new site seems to work fast, its easy and well, why cant I have the kinks worked out of my site?????? Can anyone tell me or does anyone know how to move my data from here to PHPfox?  At least that script is fast, I dont have to wait 15 minutes for a stupid video to "process" and I dont have to have all the headaches that I have here...If anyone can help I would SOOOOO be happy!! Thans!!

I empathize sdjustin. I've been working with an install for over a month now, and I find support is slim to none from the forum and the Boonex Agents. It takes a lot of time and perseverance in that case. I haven't had the exact issues you have, but I'll be posting all of the small things I've discovered that should be covered by those who make the script.

i would say waitm untill 7.0.3 comes out. boonex has promised it would be fast and also they have made changes in forum as well.

so you might like it. it should be out any time this week or next.

i sorta feel bad for the people that just go to the dolphin info page and then dive into dolphin without reading and reading and reading these forums first. you must be prepared to hire an expert developer to fix and finish this script if you want it to fully work without any issues.

i hope people that are reading this and considering a purchase are really listening. please, be prepared to spend more, beyond just a license to get what you want or need.

Well yeah the software does have its.. erm.. Kinks to iron out, but if your site is that slow that its a problem then you really should be looking at your server...

With Software like this you really do need a server with muscle to get the best from it.. Some would say this script only works best on  a dedicated, but whatever your view on this, there is no mistaking it if you put this script on a shared server with not much muscle. then you will have speed problems..

 sometimes this is true and sometimes it is not. from past experience of developing online software code i know that if the code is not properly laid out it will cause long load times. And with code as complex as Dolphin it is more than likely that there are some files where they have not properly optimized the code.
