HELP - Set limit on upload pictures

Hello,

Can someone please help with a nagging problem that we have. We are trying to set limits on the number of pictures that members from the Standard membership package can upload. We have set "Number of allowed actions under" to 2 for "photo add". This work fine but what happens is that once you upload 2 photos and them delete them to re-add other ones, it says that we have reached the limit. How do I get around this??

All that we would like to do is for members to have a limit of 2 photos and it does not matter how many times they upload them, as long as it does not pass that mark.

Please help

Hello champinhon!

Dolphin's membership system doesn't count number of "redo" actions. So if user reached his limit on upload one time then he can't upload more even if all previous items were removed.

That's my question too. It's a community software right? So, some members use Dolphin as a dating site. In my opinion this is an Error of the software  doesn't allow members to upload more pictures.

It should have a way to limit the number of pictures not to upload, but the number of pictures to have using on the albuns. But, the member should be free to delete and upload the pictures again.

One of the differences of the packages on membership is the number of pictures do have on album, not how many times you can upload it.

I would suggest to limit not the action of upload, but to limit the number of pictures on the album.

One more thing that is related with this.

I would like to know for what's use this setting:

Admin area->Advanced Settings->Media->

Number of gallery files relate to user: 2

Number of related gallery files: 2

Could anyone help with that? Or Could Dolphin think about the things posted here?

Thank

Hello,

How do you even get this to work? In membership, you can set "add photos" to for instance 5 only, but aparantly, that only means that they can add 5 photos in each album and there is no limit for album?

ok, this is the first that i have heard of this! NOT COOL! My site revolves around photos! my members constantly change their photos after every enent or gathering! Surely there is a way to fix this right?
