HTML Block

I have added an HTML block the the front page of my site. It is not formatting the text. I have added a few paragraphs and use p-tags. When I view it on the main page, all the text is run together. I even tried using div tags with no success.

Is there an area I need to manage, will allow the use of certain HTML tags?

I noticed this and have released a new mod on the market for HTML_BLOCK - upgrading that and blog posts to be a larger area for editing and with full CKEditor in place.
