 I couldn't find this anywhere on the forum...but has anyone figured out how to allow html in the Profile comments sections?
I did go in and changed the "AllowTags" in the sys_objects_cmts table (on all of them) but that didn't seem to help. I'm wondering if there is something else that needs to be changed in the BxDolCmts.php? maybe?

ok, it works now. I cleared out everything in cache...and witht the allow tags changed to "1" in sys_objects_cmts, it now seems to be working.

I have html working now in my comments from reading this post,but they all work, but profile comments, i have to post them then edit them to get it to work, video,sound ,blog all work by just post in the html code, any one know why pofile is not? |

Profile comments worked for me...video worked only if I used the video button adding in the url...but the embed code directly into the comments did not work...I have not added the html button to the editor, which i would assume would allow direct cut/paste of an embed code. Carol |
can anyone go more in depth on how to get this to work.....i have opened the inc/classes/BxDolCmts.php and couldnt find the right area to edit....would appreciate some more info |
HTML WAS WORKING IN MY COMMENTS WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING SPECIAL. NOW IT''S NOT. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED OR WHAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OR ADDED. WHEN I FIRST STARTED ADDING CONTENT TO MY SITE, IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE 2 JUST ADD A YOUTUBE VIDEO OR OTHER SITE VIDEOS TO THE COMMENTS AND I LIKED THAT FEATURE. NOW ITS GONE AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHY IT STOPPED. ANYBODY HAVE A CLUE? |

sys_objekt_cmts Allow html 1 for allowing them 0 for not allowing html |
