On my front page, the number of stars awarded to a blog is five-and-a-half when it should only be five.
Similarly, if a website description is too long, it cuts off the bottom half of the sentence.
Any ideas what´s going on?
Many thanks.

Anyone else have any experience with this? I'd really appreciate any advice. |
You will need to provide screen shots of what you see. Currently i cannot see any problems. https://www.deanbassett.com |
Hi Deano, Thanks for your attention. Screen grab attached. I've solved the problem with half stars for blogs by moving them into the left column for now. However, if you take look at the descriptions of the sites, you'll see the text is cut off at the bottom and doesn't look so good. |
increase the height of the .bx_sites_unit_description block in the css file at /modules/boonex/sites/templates/base/css/main.css https://www.deanbassett.com |
Hi Deano, Thanks for your reply. What you say makes sense, however it doesn't seem to do the trick. I do have a custom template and there's no option to edit here: here /modules/boonex/sites/templates/yourtemplatename/css/main.css So I imagine I need to make an alteration somewhere else in relation to the custom template? Maybe I could limit the number of characters to fit the box instead? |
If /modules/boonex/sites/templates/ does not contain a folder from your custom template then you modify the one in the base folder instead. https://www.deanbassett.com |
I must have done something wrong the first time, it works. Thanks a lot Deano. Don't suppose you know where I could find a similar line of code to edit for blogs do you? Many thanks. |
Actually, the stars thing is still an issue when looking at it on a different computer. It shgows five and a half stars when it's only possible to award five. Do you think this is something to do with the width of the box? Cheers. |
