Having problem upgrading from 7.6 to 7.7 :(

i dont know if someone can help me i post the same problem a week ago but no one really answer the problem im haveing is i upload the new files to my surver i over wright all the old files from 7.6 like it say and i delete .htaccess from the upgrade file and then go to my URL type my domain name /upgeade

and what im geting is the site tell me the

 it should be /upgrade/

thats what i did sorry i miss type it on the forum and when i do the /upgrade/ with the / in the end its telling me HTTP 404 not found and when i do it with out / its tellling me Profile not available for view so i really dont know whats the problem  i redo it the uoload so many times to make sure i get all the files or i missing something but its the same think over and over :(

It would appear the directory doesn't exist. You are applying the patch and not the full download, right?

1. Can you confirm that the directory actually exists on your server?
2. Can you confirm that you are applying the actual patch and not the full download from the start page?

I highly recommend mods4dolphin's upgrade service. Yes, it costs a little bit. But you'll pay one way or the other: either $ or time! I chose $ on upgrading lol.
