 So when you click on Members and it displays the current members, if you have previously added a new sex called Alien, how do I add that to the list in the control section of the members?
I am also still wondering how to have those Aliens appear under the search, can someone assist me please?

To have them appear as alien in search I think you could possibly use profile splitter module... I have not used it myself, but it looks like it could do what you want....
