 Somebody, if you can help me I would sooooo much appreciate it. I have been working on getting my Dolphin site live for a week and a half now; and last night it just stopped showing up in Internet Explorer. That's the only place though; it is showing up fine as I have it laid out in Firefox and in Google Chrome. The url is at http://www.myricherspace.com/ Please, if you can advise me to what happened, I'd appreciate it sooooo much. Eric |
it shows on my IE it must been your settings on IE Diddy is not greedy and has time. Dolphin is cool and its not just mine :-) |
I would just clear your cache in IE - tools/internet options. |
Thanks for responding; for future people who may run into this issue here is what i found caused it. The background image I am using is rather large, therfoe I added this to the body tag in general.css - overflow-x: hidden; What a mess that created as it hid my whole site with the exception of the background image. Not sure why but it did. Right after I posted my question, I went back-tracking and started undo-ing things I had done and one I deleted that line; it was fixed. So now, if anyone else has an idea how to hide that x overflow, without those words used, I'd like to know. There's nothing over there really to see so I'd just like to eliminate the scroll to empty space. Thanks to Caltrade and Diddy; I appreciate you good advice. If I hadn't solved the issue, I would have looked into both. Eric |
