Help cannot add New_Item

I was adding new items to my site and suddently I cannot add any New_Item boxes, I get an erorr that says: Sorry couldn't insert new item. Please check if NEW_ITEM already exists.

It doesn't matter what field,page, nav menu I try to add it to, I always get that error.  Any help in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

I checked the localization keys and found one instance of the New_item and messed with it to no avail, there is nothing else in the database that references the New_Item.

Edit: and I do a search and followed instructions by the serach results to no avail :(

I can add a box via the database insert itself but no matter what the drag drop ability in the admin isn't working.  There are no New_Item boxes in my database or anything that would cause conflict, I am really at a loss of what happened or broke to cause this.

Got it working again by deleting the last item in the Profiles table.

Note: The last time in the Profiles tables WAS NOT: NEW ITEM but something else I had named it but for some reason this was causing the error.  Hopefully just one of those system gremlins that get into things from time to time and does not repeat.
