 I am a complete newbie when it comes to installing webservers, mysql, PHP & Dolphin. I managed to install everything following instructions everywhere but when I try to install Dolphin, I get HTTP 500 Internal server error after configuration screen. What could be the error? Maybe I have not created database properly in mysql. Step by step help here will really help me in getting going with my first ever technical project. |
Hi Guy, I'm no pro either but have ran into enough problems with installing dolphin to know a little something. One thing you want to make sure is that all of your passwords are different. Make sure your database password is different from your cpanel password is different from your dolphin admin password. I had problems with that. If that is not the issue, you want to check that you uninstalled all of the "install" directory and not only the files inside of it. If that does not work I would suggest posting your problem over at expertzzz.com also.... I think more people use those forums. Good luck |
Hi, if you have troubles like 500 error during installing to localhost, try to comment (remove) .htaccess file from your dolphin root. (this is cause of misconfiguration with your emul host programm (WAMP/XAMP/Denver? ) ) |
