Hide Submenu on Profile Page

I don't want to show the sub-menu when a user is viewing their own profile page. Is there a variable or something I can check for to stop it being rendered?

Thank you.

That sub menu is how they go to THEIR stuff on the site; you don't want to hide that from them.  It is also how other members can go directly to the member's stuff on the site.  If a member wants to pull up their blog posts, they go to their profile and click on Blog and there it is.

I only want to hide it when you look at your own Profile, not when you are looking at someone elses.

geek_girl is right, this menu items are helpful for owner as well.

However if you still want to get rid of it, then you can go Site Navigation Menu Builder and change the following top menu items:

My Profile - is used when you see own profile

Profile View - is used when you see smb's profile
