Homepage block broken

I have read the existing threads and cannot solve my problem?!

I have a homepage HTML block that I cannot make changes to (they will not save).  I can make the changes in the db through php myadmin- but then they do not show up on my site?

Funny thing- when I have the block open, in Dolphin admin and I hit "enter" the page jumps and the cursor will not actually move down.  This was not happening before.

I currently cannot make any changes to my homepage and am not sure how this happened- I wasn't fooling with Dolphin as I know how temperamental it can be . . .

Any suggestions are appreciated.

to use html blocks saved use firefox browser. Other browser have some troubles with this.

I am using Firefox.  The HTML block will not save any changes.  Also tried going in through PageCompose to edit and exitsing block- but those changes aren't showing in my Dolphin admin panel.

I don't understand how this has happened?!!  Was working fine before.

In traditional Dolphin style, the problem is now fixed- probably based on the version of Firefox I was using.  I closed all windows, restarted the browser and was automatically updated.  The update solved the problem I was having.

I'm having this problem as well in Firefox 3.03, IE7, everything.

Anyone have any other hints?

EDIT: Acutally, updating Firefox to the newest version worked for me too. But come on... really?

The most likley issue was something in firefox was messed up. exw1513 stated it worked for a while then stopped and then the upgrade fixed it. Something had to have been screwed up and the update just happened to fix the problem.

Did either of you try clearing the browser cache(temporary files) prior to the upgrade?
