Host4Web - Dolphin 6.0.7 - 30 visitors online at once -Very Slow

I have a Dolphin 6.0.7 site in Host4Web (HostforWeb.com).
It's a reseller package HFWVPS-4
Bandwidth: 2000GB
RAM: 2048 MB
CPU: 2.34 Ghz

The site was upgraded from 6.0.4 over time.

With a mere 20 to 30 visitors online at once the site starts slowing down.

I am a technical person but do not have an expertise in speed testing etc.

I have read some of the docs on this site.

Any suggestion...any suggestion at all will be appreciated.
