Did anyone else get stung with HFW's server crashing last week? I was offline for a day, and then they had to upload a backup copy of my site from a week ago. I then lost another 24 hours because my site wasn't working.
HFW managed to fix it, so my site is up and running again, however now I can't send any emails via Outlook from my website email addresses. Has anyone had the same problem? I have made NO changes whatsoever to Outlook, the account settings are what they have always been. The only thing that has changed is HFW's server crashing and them uploading a backup copy of my site on the new server. Note:
- I can RECEIVE my website emails through Outlook without any problem, I just cannot send any
- I can send emails from OTHER email addresses via Outlook using the same computer, so it is not a problem with Outlook itself nor the computer I am sending it from, it's just a problem with the email address that are linked to the HostForWeb hosted website.
- I can send emails from my website WEBMAIL without any problems
- I am using an older version of Dolphin (v5.6 I think it is)
HFW haven't found a solution and it is getting frustrating. The error message I am getting is as follows:
"Sending reported error (0x800CCC6A): Your outgoing (SMTP) email server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message contact your server administrator or ISP. The server responded: 451 please try again later"
I also receive a bounceback email which states: "503 no recipients"
I am sending the email TO an email address that I know works because I use that email address every day without any problems, so the recipient email address is not the issue.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
