As with any hosting, I recommend you read the terms of use.

I did check out the recommended providers prior to posting my question. I even ordered hosting from Arvixe. But shortly after I ordered I came across this post. http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/?action=goto&search=1#topic/Help-I-got-an-email-from-Arvixe-.htm I quickly canceled the account. They asked me why wish to cancel, so I gave them the the link. They did not deny anything that was stated. They did state that "They believe this is the case in all hosting plans. And that some users do abuse the services and are not technical enough or serious enough to understand that". So based on that information I cant help but wonder if the other provers are the same way. I did take look at Hostupon.com and they seem to be upfront with regards to the service they provide. Stating "You Get What You Pay For".  They also advertise that Boonex sites work with their hosting plans so why are they not on the recommended hosting provider list?

Just one more thing, at what point should a site be moved to a VPS or dedicated server? 100, 500, 1000 members?

I use terabyte-hosting.  They have a few good starter packages and they dont just shut your account down for now reason. Instead they try to work with you to figure out a solution to the problem rather then just blame it on the dolphin script like most shared hosting companies. Also they provide free rms hosting with most plains...
