How Customizable Is Dolphin???

Interested in setting up a dolphin-based video/social site but need to know how customizable the site can be created.

Specifically, we're interested in setting up a "how-to" video sharing site where users have an account and can watch videos for a flat rate of $0.25 (and be able to watch that video for 24 hours unlimited times. They also have option of adding it to their library for $1 for one year.

Can a payment system and restriction on viewing videos be set up?

There are some other features we would like.

• a billing system so video uploaders can get paid on the videos they submit
• a reviewer account level where users can review new videos to approve/ranking prior to site wide availability
• ability to read reviews prior to paying for and viewing video
• thumbnail preview of video (series of stillshots) so viewer can get a glimpse of the video prior to paying for it.

Yes, it is possible. You will need someone to write custom code for you.

This sounds like some of the points mods thats out there.

Keep in mind making it work, and making it work 100% right 100% of the time are two different things.

And if you charge someone for something, they expect 100%...

So are you suggesting dolphin may not work 100% of the time or that it can if the right developer is selected to do the work? If it is the latter argument are you in such a position or can you recommend someone that may be able to handle this task?
