How? Select image area to crop on mobile browser

I just noticed if you load an avatar using the android browser, you can't move the selection box or grab the edge to resize. Am I'm missing something?

The jquery.imgselectarea.min.js file that's in the Avatar module is outdated.  

Replaced it with the rc10 version located at http://plugins.jquery.com/imgareaselect/ and seems to work on iOs and Android chrome 46.0.
