How To Clear Verbiage from Banned Users?

Still working on creating my site, and while I was away for a few weeks, spammers got a hold of the site [269] and posted info ALL over my site. 

How do I clear this?  While testing, how do you keep members from joining?  I am far from ready to test. 

I am still brand new with the Dolphin software.  Clear cache will cure this?  I have banned these members but all of their posts and advertisements are all over the place.  How do I clean house?  Thank you in advance.

I think you would do as I have in passed..Clean all accounts and data by hand, no easy way that I know of. Also since I banned China, I get NO spam at all now for months,maybe look into that.

By the way, you posted in the Dispute section, and don't think this is the right place for your issues...Just a heads up before Mag comes along..lol

You can also disable new registrations while working on your site by enabling invitation-only registration under Administration > Settings > Advanced Settings > Other.

Thank you both - great suggestions!  I have enabled the invitation button and I am in the works or eliminating the spammers by country.  Thanks again!!!!!!

Banning China worked for us too.

I'm new to Boonex, how do u ban china?, my site was already by invitation only as i managed to find that...

You can use the built-in anti-spam tools, which are available under Administration > Tools > Antispam Tools. You should also search the forums for other methods.

Like i say at the moment it is invite only whilst i construct it and get use to the layout and admin panel but once its built it will have 4 group membership, free member, premium, advertiser and admin, members will only be able to post once they take out a site subscription.

Basically, the info in yellow is what I still need help with.  Can someone provide step by step directions on how to clean/clear out forum postings from these spammers?

The spammers are gone and off my site, but their footprints aren't.  There are over 24k worth of advertising in the FORUM section.
