How To Force To Save Avatars On Register?

Hi.

I turned the avatar field mandatory on register form but in the next page there is the option to cut the avatar but the users go away without cutting and save the avatar and the profiles remain without avatar. How could I avoid this problem? Could I force the avatar save in the first register page right after user click in the register button?

Thanks a lot.

Mauro.

Hi.

Follow a temporary solution. I didn´t find how to force save avatar but I changed the avatar page to put the avatar crop first of the new avatar upload.

The file changed is: /modules/boonex/avatar/templates/base/block_wide.html

Attached my file changed!

I will try to solve the problem of users registering and not inserting avatar. 100% of my users are registering themselves without avatar.

vB has a similar problem but other software like phpFox has this as an option.  Anyone have a solution?

I'm not sure if btiesman

has shared this yet, I hope he don't mind.. this is the fix for members without avatars. Genius bitesman!

I didn't post this mod at Boonex because it had limited testing on my 7.1.2 install only.

Although it works as expected for me, it was not tested on any other Dolphin versions.

The above download link has been removed.

There is no support if you downloaded it, I suggest you uninstall it.
