How can limit the number of links in top menu?

Ok, i know that in page builder i can stop the view of single link by guest or member but my question is different.

I make an example to explain my request:

in navigation menu builder, i remove the view for guest and members of the three submenu: Photos, Videos and Sounds to compact the width of my top menu site and to minimize the number of links.

Then i create a new page that i called Contents where i includes the three links as submenus: Photos Home, Videos Home and SoundsHome and until this point everything is ok.

BUT when i click to one of these links i view only Photos Home, Videos Home or Sounds Home page WITHOUT the relative submenus.

How can activate the views of relative submenus in every home page AND turn off these three links from top menu?

thanks for some ideas...

Just drag the damn things down to InActive items, bro.

Of course, but in this way all the submenus of that page are not visible and for me this is not a solution.

I need only to remove the links that i don't want to be visible from the top menu but without disable it.

I use EVO template.

OK, DONE!

I find two solutions one "stupid" but very fast and useful solution and another with a simple code modification .

1) In Language Settings find this key: _sys_top_menu_more
and simple remove all translations, leave blank all fields!

 OR

2) in file tmpl_evo/scripts/BxTemplMenu.php comments ALL the content of function: GenMoreElementBegin()

Go to EVO template settings and set up the number of tabs that you want visible in navigation menu:

Number of main menu tabs visible to members outside of "more" tab
Number of main menu tabs visible to guests outside of "more" tab

At the end in navigation menu builder place the menu tab that want to be visible in the right position and that's it!
