How do I add more Page Blocks?

Is there a way to add more page blocks to any page or is it pre-defined by the kind of page?

If people made better use of the search function a lot of really serious questions would stop getting lost in the shuffle. A search for ... page blocks ... yielded this:

You can also try html blocks which would be the ones that you create & define yourself from within the builders section.
