You can also try my free deanos tools module. Then you can do it from admin anytime you need to.

Easiest way is to set the expire time to 1 second and then just wait a second, LOL

I'm going to give your admin mod a shot deano. Sounds like a great idea.

Thanks! Nice Mod Deano!

Great instructions too!

Thanks. But if you don't mind, i prefer comments on the mod be done in the market as feedback in the module post itself. The feedback helps not only me, but others as well by letting them see that others have installed and found the mod useful.

For some reason i am unable to install the mod, I followed the instructions but it doesnt show up in the tools/module  uninstalled section. There must be something i am doing wrong

Quote · 13 Feb 2010

I only reason it would not show up is if it was uploaded to the wrong location. So describe how you uploaded it.

ill take a guess he uploaded it to modules/bonnex/ LOL

Could be, but that would mean the instructions were not followed which specifically state to upload the modules folder to the root of the dolphin site.

For some reason, a lot of people don't get it, and go inside the folders instead. And still others don't know what the root of the dolphin site means.

I uploaded to public_html,  that didnt work then i went down to the deano folder uploaded that to the same place, didnt work. earlier today i uploaded aramis's points and gifts the folder also was named modules

Quote · 13 Feb 2010

my first attempt was exactly as the instructions read modules folder into site root. but maybe the earlier upload had some effect

The public_html may not actually be the root of your dolphin site. If your copy of dolphin is installed into a sub folder inside public_html, then it would not be.

Upload the modules folder to the folder dolphin is in.

When you get done, the modules folder on the server should contain the origional boonex folder and my folder named deano.

Please disregard, my error was When i saved the mod i extracted it to a folder i named modules, when i loaded it to the site i drug that folder over and should have drug the modules folder inside of that.

I corrected it

Ah, so you ended up with modules\modules\deano

Ok. Well, at least you caught it.

Exactly what i had and wouldnt have caught it were it not for the location talk. i knew i had it in the right place, but also knew it ha to be something i did...... it worked for everyone else so it must be me.  I was right.
