How do I get banners to work?

I took and resized a picture I wanted to use for a banner, uploaded it, choose top input url and made active and nothing happen, tried clear the cache several times still nothing then I tried typing some random text in the box,below where you put the url then when I tried it showed the random text as a link and when I clicked on it, it showed the picture, what am I doing wrong?

If your going to use a image, then it needs to be specified as a html image tag.

Example entry would be somthing like this.




Title is just for reference in admin so you know what it is.
URL is the url that it will go to when clicked on.
And TEXT is where you put the HTML <img> tag for the banner.
