How do I remove this

Hi could anyone tell me how I remove the phrases in the head of the site please?  e.g., 

"We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community."

disable the quotes module.

Login to admin and  click on tools

next click modules

under installed modules heading find Quotes version 1.0.7 by Boonex and place a check in the radio button next to it.

now click the uninstall button

and thats it
