How do i Post into the Ocra Forum

could someone tell me how to post into my forum.

how to insert catagories, etc. into the forum as well ?

I don't know the exact step by step procedure, but all of the orca forum setup options are available from the admin dashboard, under modules. When you click on Orca from there you should see several different options such as Manage forums, Reported Posts, and so on. When you create a forum it shows up as a single title line by whatever name you gave it. When you click on that line, you should see additional options in symbol form, one of which permits you to create additional forums or topics ... and if you select that and create a new whatever ... this will then appear as a sub topic or category to your already existing forum.

Problem is, this new creation (sub-topic) vanishes from sight, not to be seen again until you click on your forum title once more. It's really irritating & confusing but you'll figure it out I'm sure. The topics appear in the order that they're created ... and they can't be moved afterwards. This too is annoying because you'll have to think up all of your sub-topics and their order of appearance before you set them up.

Once you have the sub-topics or categories for your forum created, you should be able to access them as a signed up member ... depending on whatever membership privileges and options you've set up for your members. Yeah, that orca forum is something else, looks almost like something that got tossed into Dolphin as an afterthought. Lots of complaints about it in the forums ....
