How do i Upgrade from 7RC3 to 7 Stable? oO

Hey guys :)

First of all, i want to excuse me. I am german and my english is not the best.

I hope you can understand and help me to get my Dolphin upgraded to the newest version.

At this time, i have installed D7 RC3. Now i want to upgrade to 7 Stable.

Do i have to upgrade to RC4 first and then to RC5 or can i upgrade directly from RC3 to 7 Stable?

Are there files who have been modified at the template?

Can i use my translated language-file?

I hope you can give me a few answers.

i have upgraded to d7 final and my changed lang.  worked fine

7 Stable?  Where can I get a copy of that?

Oh sorry, i was confused. I have meant "Final" not "Stable". So i can upgrade directly from RC3 to 7Final without problems?

Kann ich also wirklich direkt von RC3 zu RC4 upgraden, ohne, dass es mir was zerschießt? Wie siehts mit dem Template aus, wurde da im Zuge der Bearbeitung etwas verändert? Bei den Sprachfiles gibt es auch keine Probleme? Hab hier eine mit Umlauten liegen - gibt ja ein Problem bei der deutschen Übersetzung, was die Umlaute betrifft. Kann ich die dann weiter verwenden?

Download latest final version, it includes all previous upgrades !

You don need to upload RC4 then RC5 then FINAL, just download FINAL only and apply updates incrementally.

and for your lang.change you should be fine i didn't have any problems

as always make sure you have backups just in case something goes the other way :)

forgot about the template they did rename a file in

/templates/base/scripts

forom

BxBaseIndex.php to BxBaseIndexPageView.php

so all you would need to do is copy that BxBaseIndexPageView.php to your template

Puh, thats good. I thougt i have to upload first RC4 then RC5 and so on, but if i can directly upload the Final-Version my face stops sweating ^^

Perhaps it could be helpful, if the boonex-team would write it to the blog messages...

"You can upgrade directly to the newest version"...

I hope there are not a lot of changed files in the whole Software, because i have modified a lot of them.

I hope the upgrade works (i am upgrading at this moment). I will let you know how its gone.
