How do you add friends & bookmarks to the main menu?

In order to reduce spam and make some of the footer links not visible to the public, I went ahead and removed the entire footer link section. Before I did that, I created new main menu button links from all of the footer links, to place them where, and by whom I want them to be seen. But I haven't been able to figure out how to do the same thing for ... Invite A Friend ... and I haven't been able to figure it out for ... Bookmark this Page.

When I tried creating the main menu item for the friend invitation, I'd keep getting the "This Profile is unavailable" page. No error, just a direct link to an unavailable profile. Tried both, public and member view, getting the same result.
Would someone help me out here please, step by step? Thanks.

I know of no way to do it.

Those 2 links are not linking directly to pages. They are a javascript onclick events. The bookmarks can only be done with javascript and the menu builder does not have the option to add on click events. Just a URL.

The other can be called as a full page by using the url of tellfriend.php

However it would be a full page as the pop up version requires javascript and as i mentioned, onclick events are not able to be added in the menu builder items.

Thanks for the info. deano92964,

That's pretty much all I needed to know since the bookmark function isn't really that important. I'll just have the friend page open in a new link that the member can close manually without losing the page they were on. Take care.
