How do you confirm a friend request ??

Link in email takes me to a page where CANCEL friend request is ONLY link available ...how to you accept friend request..

select the friend and click accept.

It is actually a real pain - even for experienced members.  It is an alert on the member menu I believe.  Some members have recognized this problem and created a php block to address it.  If you search around, you will find this code.
