How do you install templates / themes?

Can someone please help me? I'm having a very hard time doing this. Thanks.

There should be instructions included with the download.  If not, you need to upload the template's directory to /templates/, so the directory structure looks like this:

/templates/

-- /[template]/

-- -- /css/

-- -- /js/

-- -- /scripts/

-- -- etc.

The template should work without any further changes. 

Also after you do that don't forget to swap to the new template in admin:

administration -> settings -> advanced settings -> templates
