How to Add PHP in a Block

Hi Everyone,

I posted a tutorial on how to add php in a block. I had written one a few months ago but it was messy. With 612, this one is easier. You still need to do the phpmyadmin thing, but this one is easier :)

Here's the link:

Please try it out and let me know how it goes.

Hy,

I followed your tutorial, but the PHP Block is not shown on my page (Page Builder shows it correct

at the corresponding page).

I tried to make a PHP Block with this: echo _t("langkey");

Any hints why the page does not show the block?

Regards,

M

mpernkopf - make sure you move the block around, and clear your browser cache.  This tripped me up and that my be all it is.   Jtadeo - excellent tutorial - simple and well written.  It has already been the basis of several nice mods here.

@Caltrade:

i already did what you suggested, but the following way: defined the page and the block in firefox (also moved around the block in firefox after defining in pagecompose table); tried to 'refresh' the page in IE6; seems that IE can't handle this; today morning i tried the same process completely in Firefox and now it's working (IE bug?).

Thanks for your assistance
