Hello all,
I just had an upgrade to 7.1 plus a newer template installed. I am not able to change my text colors within the HTML Block like I was able to do before the upgrades and newer template. The person who did the upgrades and installed the template mention to me that the template is a CSS? I'm not sure what that is or how to go about resolving this issue? Is the someone who can help me with this? Thanks in advance!

CSS is the code that controls the presentation of an HTML document.
Are you wanting to change the text colour in the HTML blocks site wide? Or do you want to be able to override the text colours for a particular HTML block.

Hi Geek Girl,
I just want to be able to change text colors per box to any color that I care to choose. May be even both may be a good idea as well. Just like when I was on 7.08
and pretty much a basic template, if that makes any sense?

When you add an HTML block to the page using the page builder, it should load in the TinyMCE editor that will allow you to easily change colours of the text, make text bold, etc. If you don't see the editor, then try clicking on the toggle editor below the edit windows. Sorry Geek Girl, not seeing anything like you mention, no TinyMCE, As an example, in this editor to where we are messaging each other, my HTML editor should, I'm assuming, look like this, yes? there isn't a place for me to check "styles" "Font Size" "color of text" and background color. These seem to be missing? |
If you like, set me up an admin access to your site (send it by PM only) and I will take a look. TinyMCE is javascript based; it is possible something added to your site is causing a conflict with the TinyMCE editor. Geeks, making the world a better place |

You will need to add the font colour buttons to the TinyMCE toolbar; they are not included in the init that ships with Dolphin. Geeks, making the world a better place |
