How to add additional field for Files?

I can add this information for any file, uploaded to my website:

- Title;

- Keywords;

- Descriptiom.

I want to add 1 more additional text field ("Author") for every uploaded file.

How can I make this???

there is already a default Owner field - which is the ID of the person adding the file - is this what you are looking for?

 No, I want to add files of other authors (for example, PDF-documents). So, I need a field "Author" to point names of different authors of documents.

You need to add it to the module's form and also a field to store the information in the database.  If you can not programme, then you will need to hire someone to do it for you.  I do custom work if you want to send me a PM.
